Abstracts have always captivated me, especially those that invite you in for a closer look to reveal their secrets. There’s a thrill in watching each piece shift from a blank slate, through a messy middle, and emerge as something unexpected and deeply satisfying. The beauty of abstracts lies in their freedom—freedom to experiment, to push boundaries, to let go and let the work evolve on its own terms. Each stroke is a dance of layering, stripping back, and finding that balance between “just enough” and “a touch too much.” The canvas feels alive, calling forth all it wishes to express; unreservedly, fervently, meaningfully. Intuitive gestures, vibrant colors, and textured marks come together, drawn from somewhere deep within, weaving heart, mind, and spirit into something uniquely alive.

They say the eyes are the windows to the soul, and perhaps that’s why I’m drawn to painting faces—especially older faces that hold decades of unspoken stories. Each line, each crease tells its own tale, and painting a portrait becomes the key to unlocking those hidden narratives. Faces move me, with their expressions and subtle cues inviting me to look beyond the surface. With each careful brushstroke, I aim to uncover layers of beauty, potential, and even pieces of identity that may have been overlooked.
